EPICENTRE Kurfürstenstrasse / Potsdamer Strasse, 2015

This work explores a street corner in Berlin as a hinterland, a place defined by overlapping absences and presences. Once peripheral to West Berlin and later associated with vice, art, and rapid urban change, the site resists a single narrative. It is neither empty nor resolved, but marked by contradiction, memory, and projection. What appears derelict to some is central to others, revealing how identity and experience shape what is seen, and what remains unseen.
