CIVIC. CENTRE. brings together paintings and sculptures based on my extended observation of politically and socially contested urban sites in Berlin, Paris, and Calgary. Through close attention to everyday rituals, architectural detail, and patterns of use, the work examines how civic space expresses power, ideology, and belonging, and reveals the tension between ambition, progress, and lived experience.
